Newbie

Hey everybody, forgive me here for this is my first attempt at a blog.  The title was something that some classmates suggested, but it is a work in progress.  I felt like a blog I would be interested in would have something to do with music.

I try to go to a music festival once a year, I would love to be able to make more than one.  But they can be pricey as some know.  I am also going to try and get a feel for some local bands here in Oklahoma City.  I would like to share my opinion and see if I can maybe support some local artists.  I love my state and I love to keep things local.  I think it is a good way to support the society I am in. 

Any who I am going to pretty much talk about artists i like, up and coming artists, festivals and local Oklahoma bands.  Bare with me here, I would appreciate any feedback and any advice someone would like to give.  I know there are always haters, and that is OK.  I want your opinion too.  I know this isn't a flashy post but over the next few months I will be learning and tweaking things.  I am hoping to open some music lovers eyes into something they may or may not heard of.
